California Soul is the 2003 debut album by American rapper Blu. Released on the independent label New World Color, the album is a laid-back and introspective look at life in Los Angeles, Blu’s hometown. The album’s production is mostly handled by Exile, who creates jazzy and atmospheric beats that perfectly complement Blu’s smooth flow.
